A couple cool social change/technology things from around the blogosphere:
“Nonprofit Blogging: Burning Questions and Answers”: Blogger and nonprofit consultant Britt Bravo shares experience and lessons from her consulting with nonprofits about why and how a blog can be useful in advancing the mission.
“Why Do People Give to Charity?”: Sean Stannard-Stockton (of Tactical Philanthropy) responds to the 1st hit on a Google Search for “why do people give to charity”. The paper, written by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, suggests that giving is based more on people’s internal desire to feel “good” and be seen as a good person than direct altruism. A great intro to an important discussion.
